Transform Movement from the Ground Up

NEW AS OF APRIL 2025: Advanced Lower Limb & Foot Course - Version 2.0

Fix movement by addressing dysfunctions in the foot, ankle, and knee.

This advanced course dives deep into the biomechanics of the lower limb, equipping trainers and practitioners to tackle complex movement challenges.

By addressing the foundation of movement—the lower limb—you’ll be able to resolve dysfunctions that affect posture and performance throughout the entire body.

Perfect for those working with advanced or complex cases, this course is the ideal complement to the Main Biomechanics Course, giving you the tools to create lasting results from the ground up.

For a limited time, get Own Your Body, my latest course, for just $99 (regularly $249). Don’t miss out — Black Friday offer won’t last long!

IN THIS COURSE, YOU'LL LEARN:

  • Advanced Biomechanics: Master the complex mechanics of the foot, ankle, and knee and their role in movement.

  • Movement Dysfunction Insights: Discover how lower limb dysfunctions influence posture, gait, and performance.

  • Footwear Strategies: Learn how footwear selection and modification impact movement and how to optimize it for your clients.

  • Programming Solutions: Develop comprehensive plans to address and resolve lower limb challenges.

By focusing on the biomechanics of the lower limb, you’ll gain actionable tools to address dysfunctions often overlooked in traditional movement training.

Whether you're working with athletes, clients recovering from injury, or anyone seeking improved mobility, this course empowers you to make meaningful, lasting changes.

Why focus on the lower limb?

Many movement dysfunctions originate in the foot, ankle, and knee, impacting posture, gait, and overall function. Addressing these foundational areas is crucial for resolving long-standing movement limitations and achieving efficient, pain-free performance.

Why This Is a Must-Have Addition to LBC 2.0

The Main Biomechanics Course covers key areas of movement, but we don’t have time to fully explore the foot, ankle, and knee in the depth they require.

You’ve likely heard me saying:

"If they have a foot issue, they won’t be able to progress until they address that.”

This course is designed for exactly those cases.

For example, the foot plays a crucial role in how the entire body moves and functions. When it doesn’t interact properly with the ground, it disrupts the body’s ability to distribute forces and limits movement efficiency.

By focusing on these foundational areas, the Advanced Lower Limb & Foot Course perfectly complements the Main Biomechanics Course, equipping you with the tools to address and resolve even the most challenging cases.

PROGRAM SYLLABUS

Module 1: Lower Limb Biomechanics & Assessments

  • Learn high-level biomechanics regarding the knee, ankle, and foot and how they work within human movement and gait

  • Understand specifically how dysfunctions specifically at the foot and lower leg can influence posture and limit the rest of the body from moving well

  • Learn how to select the optimal type/model of shoewear to best complement the needs of an individual’s feet and fix their dysfunctions

  • Learn how to modify shoewear through implementation of certain tools designed to improve foot and lower limb function in a given pair of shoes

  • Introduce simple biomechanical and muscular-strength tests to identify limitations in biomechanics and function of the knee, ankle, and foot.

Module 2: Connective Tissue Health

  • Learn how connective tissue (tendons, ligaments, etc) are a key element, and often a missing link in rehab, to improve function and health within the lower limb and foot

  • Integrate the nature of how muscles, connective tissue, and joint biomechanics interact and how we can optimize them working together in a rehab program

  • Learn how to select the optimal type/model of shoewear to best complement the needs of an individual’s feet and fix their dysfunctions

  • See multiple examples of full programs (with progressions) designed to tie all the information together and integrate this course with the Biomechanics Course

Module 3: Connective Tissue Health & Strengthening Exercises

  • Understand the importance of connective tissue (tendon, fascia, etc) health for long-term improvements in lower limb biomechanics

  • Learn specific exercises for foot, ankle, and lower limb strengthening and plyometric activities that complement the corrective exercises learned in Week 1

  • Learn how to modify traditional weightroom exercises and new exercises from the Biomechanics Course to make them more conducive to addressing foot & lower limb issues + improving biomechanics at those areas

  • See multiple examples of full programs (with progressions) designed to tie all the information together and integrate this course with the Biomechanics Course

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Need Any Special Equipment?

No. You can do this program at home, without needing a gym membership, and without using any special equipment. You can do these exercises with items you already have in your house.

However, it does help to have a foam roller, pillow, and table about waist-high for use throughout the program

How Quickly Will I See Results?

The significance of your results is obviously very much depending on where you are starting and how many issues you are dealing with. Regardless, I would expect you to notice some difference in the first two weeks of the program.
